Another year wrapped up, somehow. Through late-night chats, random tech help, idle windows that stayed open longer than some friendships, and the familiar comfort of seeing the same nicks roll in, Newnet kept doing what it’s always done: being a steady little corner of the internet that still feels human.
Whether you’ve been here for decades or you just found us this year, thank you for making the network what it is. IRC is simple on purpose, and that simplicity still matters. No algorithms. No feeds. No performative nonsense. Just people, channels, and the occasional bot being weird at exactly the right time.
