Welcome to the NickServ Help Document. Below you will find a list of commands provided by Anope IRC services’ NickServ module along with their descriptions and syntax for easy reference.

ns_access

Description: Modify the list of authorized addresses.

Syntax:

• ACCESS ADD [nickname] mask
• ACCESS DEL [nickname] mask
• ACCESS LIST [nickname]

ns_ajoin

Description: Manage your auto join list.

Syntax:

• AJOIN ADD [nickname] channel [key]
• AJOIN DEL [nickname] channel
• AJOIN LIST [nickname]

ns_alist

Description: List channels you have access on.

Syntax: ALIST [nickname]

ns_cert

Description: Modify the nickname client certificate list.

Syntax:

• CERT ADD [nickname] fingerprint
• CERT DEL [nickname] fingerprint
• CERT LIST [nickname]

ns_confirm

Description: Confirm a passcode.

Syntax: CONFIRM passcode

ns_drop

Description: Cancel the registration of a nickname.

Syntax: DROP nickname

ns_getemail

Description: Returns the matching nicks that used a given email.

Syntax: GETEMAIL email

ns_getpass

Description: Returns the password for the given nickname.

Syntax: GETPASS nickname

ns_group

Description: Join a group.

Syntax:

• GROUP target password
• UNGROUP [nick]

ns_identify

Description: Identify yourself with your password.

Syntax: IDENTIFY [account] password

ns_info

Description: Displays information about a given nickname.

Syntax: INFO [nickname]

ns_logout

Description: Reverses the effect of the IDENTIFY command.

Syntax: LOGOUT [nickname [REVALIDATE]]

ns_recover

Description: Regains control of your nick.

Syntax:

• RECOVER nickname [password]
• RELEASE nickname [password]
• GHOST nickname [password]

ns_register

Description: Register a nickname.

Syntax: REGISTER password email

ns_resetpass

Description: Helps you reset lost passwords.

Syntax: RESETPASS Nickname email

ns_set

Description: Set options, including kill protection.

Syntax: SET options

Additional options: Allows adding SET options like ICQ, AIM, etc., that can be displayed in ns_info.

ns_status

Description: Returns the owner status of the given nickname.

Syntax: STATUS nickname

ns_suspend

Description: Suspends or un-suspends a registered nickname, which prevents or allows its usage.

Syntax:

• SUSPEND nickname
• UNSUSPEND nickname

ns_update

Description: Updates your current status, i.e., checks for new memos.

Syntax: UPDATE
