Welcome to the OperServ Help Document. Below you will find a list of commands provided by Anope IRC services’ OperServ module along with their descriptions and syntax for easy reference.

os_akill

  • Description: Manipulate the AKILL list.
  • Syntax:
  • AKILL ADD [+expiry] mask reason
  • AKILL DEL {mask or entry-num or list or id}
  • AKILL LIST [mask or list or id]
  • AKILL VIEW [mask or list or id]
  • AKILL CLEAR

os_chankill

  • Description: AKILL all users on a specific channel.
  • Syntax: CHANKILL [+expiry] #channel reason

os_config

  • Description: View and change configuration file settings.
  • Syntax:
  • CONFIG {MODIFY or VIEW} [block name item name item value]

os_defcon

  • Description: Manipulate the DefCon system.
  • Syntax: DEFCON [1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5]

os_dns

  • Description: Manipulate the DNS Server.
  • Syntax:
  • DNS ADDZONE zone.name
  • DNS DELZONE zone.name
  • DNS ADDSERVER server.name [zone.name]
  • DNS DELSERVER server.name [zone.name]
  • DNS ADDIP server.name ip.address
  • DNS DELIP server.name ip.address
  • DNS SET server.name option value
  • DNS POOL server.name

os_forbid

  • Description: Forbid usage of nicknames, channels, and emails.
  • Syntax:
  • FORBID ADD {NICK or CHAN or EMAIL or REGISTER} [+expiry] entry reason
  • FORBID DEL {NICK or CHAN or EMAIL or REGISTER} entry
  • FORBID LIST [NICK or CHAN or EMAIL or REGISTER]

os_ignore

  • Description: Modify the Services ignore list.
  • Syntax:
  • IGNORE ADD expiry {nick or mask} [reason]
  • IGNORE DEL {nick or mask}
  • IGNORE LIST
  • IGNORE CLEAR

os_info

  • Description: Associate oper info with a nick or channel.
  • Syntax:
  • INFO ADD target info
  • INFO DEL target info
  • INFO CLEAR target

os_jupe

  • Description: “Jupiter” a server.
  • Syntax: JUPE server [reason]

os_kick

  • Description: Kick a user from a channel.
  • Syntax: KICK channel user reason

os_kill

  • Description: Kill a user.
  • Syntax: KILL user [reason]

os_list

  • Description: List all users or channels on the network.
  • Syntax:
  • CHANLIST [{pattern or nick} [SECRET]]
  • USERLIST [{pattern or #channel} [INVISIBLE]]

os_login

  • Description: Login to OperServ.
  • Syntax: LOGIN password

os_logout

  • Description: Logout from OperServ.
  • Syntax: LOGOUT

os_logsearch

  • Description: Searches logs for a matching pattern.
  • Syntax: LOGSEARCH [+daysd] [+limitl] pattern

os_mode

  • Description: Change channel modes.
  • Syntax:
  • MODE #channel modes
  • MODE #channel CLEAR [ALL]

os_modinfo

  • Description: Info about a loaded module.
  • Syntax: MODINFO modname

  • Description: Load, reload, or unload modules.
  • Syntax:
  • MODLOAD modname

os_news

  • Description: Define messages to be shown to users who oper.
  • Syntax:

os_noop

  • Description: Remove all operators from a server remotely.
  • Syntax:
  • NOOP SET server
  • NOOP REVOKE server

os_oline

  • Description: Give Operflags to a certain user.
  • Syntax: OLINE nick flags

os_oper

  • Description: View and change Services Operators.
  • Syntax:
  • OPER ADD nick opertype
  • OPER DEL nick
  • OPER INFO opertype
  • OPER LIST

os_reload

  • Description: Reload services’ configuration file.
  • Syntax: RELOAD

os_session

  • Description: View the list of host sessions.
  • Syntax:
  • SESSION LIST threshold
  • SESSION VIEW host

os_set

  • Description: Set various global Services options.
  • Syntax:
  • SET READONLY {ON or OFF}
  • SET DEBUG {ON or OFF}
  • SET NOEXPIRE {ON or OFF}
  • SET SUPERADMIN {ON or OFF}
  • SET LIST

os_shutdown

  • Description: Terminate services with save.
  • Syntax:
  • SHUTDOWN
  • RESTART
  • QUIT

os_stats

  • Description: Show status of Services and network.
  • Syntax: STATS [AKILL or HASH or UPLINK or UPTIME or ALL or RESET]

os_svs

  • Description: Forcibly alter user’s nick/channel.
  • Syntax:
  • SVSNICK nick newnick
  • SVSJOIN nick #channel
  • SVSPART nick #channel

os_sxline

  • Description: Manipulate the SxLINE list.
  • Syntax:
  • SNLINE ADD [+expiry<?ins>] <ins>mask:reason
  • SQLINE ADD [+expiry] mask reason
  • SxLINE DEL {mask or entry-num or list or id}
  • SxLINE LIST [mask or list or id]
  • SxLINE VIEW [mask or list or id]
  • SxLINE CLEAR

os_update

  • Description: Force the Services databases to be updated immediately.
  • Syntax: UPDATE
